Mark is co-founder and Creative Director of Production Company JAM Pictures alongside his business partner Joel Anderson.founder and

He started his professional life many years ago in the Theatre - and has since spent most of his adult life on a set or stage of some sort - directing, acting, voice work and running theatre companies. His acting includes lengthy stints on Prime Time acclaimed TV medical drama 'The Clinic' and ratings behemoth 'Mrs Browns Boys' amongst numerous other credits .

Alongside this he has cultivated a successful career in advertising, translating his dramatic work into writing, directing, creative and creative direction in short form. He has worked in countless agencies, as well as direct to client.

His broad multi-hyphenate skillset means that he has a wealth of experience to draw from technically and creatively, allowing him to create in many different genres and categories – from fintech to food, and kids to cosmetics - from serious and emotional to funny and quite frankly... silly. (a characteristic he holds in high regard)

He has won numerous awards internationally for various short films and commercial campaigns.

Commercially he has worked with (amongst others) Ryobi, McDonalds, Neutrogena, HP, Holland and Barrett, Cisco, John Lewis, Visa, Samsung, Play Doh, Disney, Furreal, Monopoly, Trolls, Baby Alive, Centrepoint, NERF, Barry M, Wayfair, Lynx Golf, Mastercard, Barclaycard, Excedrin, Virgin, Adlens, Thorntons, Telegraph, Tourism Australia, Nicitonell, Philips, Skittles, AEG and Waggel.

His acting background gives him a great eye for a truthful, natural performance (if required) and his very developed inner child (and clown) make him very good with kids. (And some adults). Mark is currently developing various long form projects, and continues to be prolific in the world of short form.

Mark has equal regard for anything highbrow or lowbrow, as is demonstrated by his love of a good fart joke or indeed some biting social satire. This is often represented in his work. He has a crippling inability to talk about himself in the first person.
